The majestic 1985 Petrus, Pomerol from the storied vineyards of Bordeaux commanded the spotlight, fetching a regal $4,112.50. Some other single bottle lots worth to mention including both 1982 Chateau Lafite Rothschild and 2004 Penfolds
Bin 60A Magnum reached $2115; 1969 Chateau Lafite Rothschild sold for $822.50 and followed by 2008 Penfolds Grange Bin 95 at $705.

Most Coveted: The Battle of Bidders
The enchanting MV Krug 20eme Edition Brut Rose, a testament to Champagne’s allure, captivated dozens of fervent bidders, closing at $658.

Regional Revelations: Best Selling Regions
Waiheke Island emerged as a beacon for Cabernet Sauvignon lovers, its wines weaving magic that resonated with collectors. 3-bottle lot of 2007 Destiny Bay Magna Praemia scored $1128, both 2005 & 2007 Destiny Bay Magna Praemia reached $376 and 2013 Destiny Bay Mystae sold for $258.50.

Bordeaux, ever the classic, held its ground with enduring elegance and robust sales. 3-bottle lot of 1982 Chateau Cheval Blanc scored $3525 and 2009 Chateau Leoville Las Cases sold for $481.75.

Comparative Canvas: Regional Insights
New Zealand: A crescendo of interest echoed through its Cabernet blends, particularly from Waiheke’s celebrated slopes and Pinots from Central Otago’s picturesque vineyards. 2006 Bell Hill Pinot Noir fetched a remarkable result of $411.25 and 2014 Gibbston Valley Reserve Pinot Noir Double Magnum in OWC scored $705.

France: With Bordeaux and Burgundy at the helm, the region reaffirmed its timeless allure. Both 2002 Domaine William Fevre Les Clos Chablis Grand Cru and 2017 Bruno Clavelier Vosne-Romanee 1er Cru Aux Brulees sold for $293.75.

Italy: hands down the best Return on Investment(ROI) region in past 2 years with a steadily growing audience. 2019 Ornellaia Bolgheri Superiore sold for $411.25.
