Date Announced! November Rare & Fine Wine Live Auction

We are over the moon to bring you our November Rare and Fine Wine Auction. This auction will be in two parts as we are privileged to have the greater part of the cellar of an industry champion. After over 20 years in the wine industry our vendor turned his hand to brewing and opened a Public House specialising in fine traditional ales (we have been known to frequent this fine establishment ourselves). This is indeed a wonderful cellar with many highlights but truly spectacular when it comes to the selections from Alsace and Sauternes. It is certainly not limited to that with wines from the New World and many other French regions. All wines from this cellar have been carefully stored in an underground purpose-built passive cellar.

The second part of this auction is by no means second in stature with Stonyridge and Te Mata Coleraine dominating the New Zealand section and Henschke and Penfolds Grange doing the same in Australia.

While we have wines from all over Europe it is the many vintage ports we have along with prestige champagnes, the likes of, but not limited to, DRC, Ramonet and Rousseau from Burgundy, the many first Growths including 375ml bottlings and Robert Parker 100 pointers and a five litre Chateau d’Yquem. Now there’s something for the Christmas table!

See you all at Caro’s Wines in Mackelvie Street, Grey Lynn, at 6:30 pm on Tuesday, 12th November. As always, our auction will be streamed live on auctions.wineauctionroom.com.
